I tried to distract myself by drawing pictures of trees and grass and animals....but eventually I spent my time doing what I always was these days. Drawing the ones I had lost in the Great Epidemic. From memory, of course, but they helped me remember what my mother and father looked like, what Cayl looked like...Over and over I drew them to remember, but nobody would ever know. Finally, a ding went off in my head, telling me that it was time for me to depart for earth. I walked there on foot, because it wasn't very far and I didn't want to exhaust my powers so soon. The building with the earth portal in it was made of stone, and very big.
